where is your Elf on the shelf?

The Elf on the shelf is a cute and fun way that kids are reminded that Santa has helpers who make sure which names go on the naughty and nice list.  I used to talk to a little guy Andrew at the daycare where I worked and every morning when he came in I'd have to ask where the elf was that day.  That Elf was very imaginative . I learned more about the elf on the shelf while watching the Home and Family show the other day.  I can remember my aunt Mickey having a little green elf but I had no idea the power he had. When the elf comes to your home you must  name him and no one can touch him or his magic is lost.

Home and Family is on every week day from 9-11 and when I am home you know where I am..:-)

can you find Woody the elf in this shot?

"Top Chef All-Stars" winner chef Fabio Viviani was back in our kitchen today with his charm and and a delicious recipe for Pumpkin Agnolotti with Truffle Butter. We can't wait to see -- and taste -- what he cooks up during his next visit!

Look who's turned up in a bowl of cereal this morning -- our own Elf on the Shelf, Woody! This popular Christmas tradition has come to "Home & Family" and co-author of "The Elf on the Shelf," Chanda Bell, is here to talk about how this tradition started in her family and what Elfin project is next!
