One of these days I am going to be brave enough to take a Wilton class and learn how to make awesome cakes but until I do , I enjoy the magic they can do with theirs. :-) Isn't this adorable!


And here are some instructions from Wilton so you can make these cute Thanksgiving pops. I found this cutie on facebook, it's from the Wilton Home...If you make it let me know how much it was to make and how it ..they turned out.... have fun.


Plentiful Plumage Turkey Brownie Pop

Lots of chocolate to be thankful about on this chubby turkey pop. It’s a brownie pop covered with light cocoa Candy Melts candy, and it even has a malted milk ball for head!

Instructions:

step 1

Bake and cool brownie pops in mold supported by cookie sheet

step 2

Melt light cocoa Candy Melts Candy according package directions. Tint a small portion black using candy color from set. Dip cookie stick in candy then insert into flat side of pop. Chill until set.

step 3

Dip pop in melted light cocoa candy. Tap off excess candy and insert into pops decorating stand. Chill until set.

step 4

Make turkey head. Use melted light cocoa candy and cut parchment bag to attach malted milk ball to pop. Hold for a few minutes to set in place. Chill until set.

step 5

Tint fondant. Use 1 in. ball of fondant in each color. Tint fondant yellow, orange and red. Roll out all fondant 1/16 in. thick.

step 6

Make beak and yellow feathers. Use 1/4 in. ball of yellow fondant to shape beak by hand. Attach with melted candy.
Use yellow fondant and small daisy cutter to cut small wings and tail feathers. Attach feathers for wings and tail feathers with melted candy and brush, trimming shapes as need with knife. Chill until set.

step 7

Make orange feathers. Use orange fondant to cut tail feathers with medium daisy cutter. Attach behind yellow tail feathers with melted candy and brush.
Use 1/2 in. ball of orange fondant and small daisy cutter to cut wings. Attach behind yellow wings with melted candy and brush, trimming shapes as need with knife. Chill until set.

step 8

Make wattle and red feathers. Use a 1/4 in. ball of red fondant to shape wattle by hand. Attach wattle to beak with melted candy and brush.
Roll out remaining red fondant, cut medium daisy cutter to cut tail feathers and small daisy cutter to cut wings. Attach tail feathers behind orange feathers and wing feathers between yellow and orange wings with melted candy and brush. Chill until set.

step 9

Make eyes. Use melted black candy and cut parchment bag to pipe eyes. Chill until set.
