Everyone loves cupcakes, we try not to but deep down we have a soft soft spot for them :-) and they are so gorgeous! I frost a cupcake add some sprinkles and think wonderful then I take a peek at cupcake wars or some places in the area and mine need a lot of help. A local owner was on cupcake wars which was so exciting and fun to watch. Congratulations for winning Cupcake Wars, that program is very stressful to watch hoping your fav wins, I can't imagine what it must be like for the contestants.

Penfield, N.Y. - The owner of a local cupcake shop showed she is the Cupcake Queen.
Heather Saffer, owner of “Dollop,” won "Cupcake Wars," a show on the Food Network Sunday night.
“It feels amazing to be noticed,” she said.
Saffer opened her shop in Penfield a year and a half ago.
On Monday, eager cupcake fans lined up to taste Saffer's sweet creations.
"They hadn't heard about my shop even though we've been here for a year and a half; people are now discovering it and coming and that's great just to get the word out like this...it's just been an amazing experience," Saffer said.
