Do you remember when you were a kid on warm summer nights just waiting for it to get dark so you could chase the fireflies.  Spent hours trying to catch them when they lit up so you could hold the magic in your hand for just a few minutes then let it go and the fun would begin all over .

We used to go to my grandparents on Friday nights and a bunch of us would go up into the apple orchard behind the house and wait for the blinking and the fun to begin. To this day I enjoy the song about fireflies and when the fireflies come out to play I remember playing with them way back when I was little and how much fun we had. The laughter and the giggling of kids playing was awesome! To see the lyrics and author high light..... and sing along then go chase some fireflies:-)
