Party Platter Planning with Cristina
Tips for Organizing a Party Platter: 1. All of the cooking and the prep can be done the morning of; so all you have to do is reheat and serve! 2. Pick items that can be good hot or room temp for a buffet style presentation, and tray pass the "hot only” items 3. The rule is: a serving and a half of each item for each person 4. If you are hosting an “apps only” event, don't serve everything at once. Parcel out the apps for the number of hours of your event. 5. If your apps are preceding a meal - don't over serve appetizers. Chef Melissa D'Arabian's Orange-Ginger Fried Wontons
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Orange Marmalade
Fresh ginger
Cream Cheese
Cinnamon
Salt
Wonton wrappers
Confectioners' sugar
Vegetable oil (for frying)

Orange-Ginger Fried Wontons Directions:
1. Heat oil
2. Mix orange marmalade, ginger, cream cheese, cinnamon & salt
3. Fill wontons w/ mixture
4. Fold, pinch wontons shut, making triangles
5. Fry wontons, dust w/ confectioners/ sugar

Ingredients
Chicken breast halves
Soy sauce
Orange marmalade
Sweet rice cooking wine/ white wine
Red pepper flakes
Flour
Sesame seeds
Butter
Chicken breast halves

Directions:
1. Cube chicken
2. Mix soy sauce, marmalade, wine & red pepper flakes
3. Toss chicken in marinade
4. Mix flour and sesame seeds, toss chicken in
5. Drizzle chicken w/ butter, bake until crispy
